Resource Classes

Enrichment is really only the beginning.

Montessori resource classes do not merely enrich the curriculum but prove central to its purpose. Immersing children in music and theater; exploring with them the visual arts; playing at bodily movement; practicing a foreign language--in each case, the goal is to inspire expression in all its many forms. Montessori is nothing if not an act of expression, a perpetual performance, both to reveal one's inner workings and to cultivate new insights in the process. Resource classes are both unique and irreplaceable channels for growth whose absence would not just leave our academic programming poorer--but missing vital means of making connections with our world.
